Yes, I do think Los Angeles is worth visiting – for most people. This comes with a big caveat that I do NOT think it’s the best that California has to offer, and many people find it over-rated, expensive, and a bit of a letdown. However, it’s also a huge and important city in California with plenty to do, see, and discover if you know what to expect and how to best spend your time.

For most people, LA is a bucket list city that they would be sad to miss out on – so by all means, enjoy exploring the entertainment capital of the world and appreciate all that it has to offer! However if you only have a short time to experience California, or if you prefer nature over big cities, I would recommend visiting other parts of this lovely state.
