ABOUT

Hi, my name is Janelle! 👋

I’ve lived in California for the past 27 years and have been to 30+ countries in 5 continents.
I travel 3+ months per year…
but I also still live a “normal” life with “normal” jobs most of the time!

I help people incorporate frequent travel into their lives to create a “flexible travel lifestyle”… with ANY budget, career path, or stage in life.

I’ve learned travel can, and SHOULD, still be an integral part of building a career and your dream lifestyle, whatever that looks like for you.

Travel opens our eyes to a new world of possibilities and life paths we may have never considered and it teaches us that working only to have money is no life at all.

Before Travel Blogging:

I grew up in South Bay Los Angeles, specifically in Torrance, CA. I graduated from college at UC Santa Barbara where I met my partner, Peter with whom I now live and travel.

During college, I spent four months living in Dublin where I studied abroad. During my time in Ireland, I had the chance to explore the country including Cork, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, Howth, staying in a castle hotel, and more.

By growing up and living in California, I’ve been able to thoroughly explore the state. From San Francisco down to San Diego and everything in between – Santa Cruz, Napa Valley, Catalina Island, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, the Pacific Coast Highway, you name it!

Now, I spend most of my time in the Los Angeles area when Peter and I are not traveling the world. I’m an avid surfer, whether that’s here in southern California or places like Costa Rica and Ecuador. I’m always looking for a new adventure and unique way to experience the world!

To inspire others to travel the world more often and learn that it is possible to build a life and career around travel.

    What I’m Trying To Do:

Change the way the world views what you HAVE to do in your career. You can still travel while you grow professionally.

    Make the Trip “Matter”:

Learn about and participate in the culture, respect the environment, be present, and appreciate the privilege of traveling!
